KEY ISSUES.
Here are a list of my key issues that I aim to address on day one. These problems have been going on for far too long and I will work tirelessly to fight for New Windsor in these areas.
1.
AFFORDABILITY.
With high home prices, working people can't afford to keep up. We need to build off of the current housing tax force in the County Legislature and work to provide workforce housing in New Windsor and across Orange County.
2.
GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY.
Since it's inception, one party has ruled the Orange County government. We need to put an end to corrupt County Executives and Legislators that enrich themselves on the backs of taxpayers.
3.
INFRASTRUCTURE.
Making vital improvements to roadways, local transit, and sidewalks in New Windsor where none currently exist. I will fight to have a representative from Orange County on the MTA board so we do not continue to pay for services we can't count on.
4.
PROACTIVE REPRESENTATION.
New Windsor deserves someone they can count on to navigate government. As a public servant working in the NYS Senate, I have the experience of how to navigate bureaucracy and deliver results.
